item iii T ,Q . n-,gqgizw Student Council and Model UN Prove Active Student Council was a very active group this year. Pep Assemblies, Spirit Weeks, and the Christmas Dance were only a few fun activities they sponsored. Student Council also helped the students realize keeping the patio clean was not the janitors job by sponsoring Trash Week . During Trash Week students let the trash pile up in the patio. Pueblo had too much pride to have a dirty patio, so students kept it cleaner. To see what other Student Councils were like, ten delegates from Pueblo attended a con- vention at Palo Verde High School where they exchanged ideas with each other. Ms. Renee Fenn, their new advisor, was great and the members liked working with her. Officers were Eddie Flores, president, Ceci- lia Barboa, vice-president, Annette Estrada, treasurer, Luz Alabado, secretary, and Ana Chavez, corresponding secretary. The purpose of Model UN was to learn about the United Nations, increase aware- ness of international affairs, and promote cooperation among students throughout Arizona and the southwest. Model UN also participated in the Model UN session at the University of Arizona. Officers were Michael Stafford, president, Joy Moshier, vice-presi- dent, Patricia Gillette, secretary, and Clar- rissa Gibson, treasurer.
