This year's Girls varsity softball season wasn't as good as was ex- pected. They only had three winsg but they did beat Santa Rita, the team that eventually became city champions. Although the team had some bad times due to the loss of needed players, the girls used this season to learn different techniques which gave them a lot more experience. According to Coach Warnke, next year will be much more improved because the girls will have more exper- ience. The junior Varsity team had a good season as they did better than in previous years, although they had the potential to win more games, stated Coach Ms. McDonald. The team really looked strong as there were some returning players, but some players had not played before. The girls ended their season with seven wins, seven losses and one tie. The tie was against Santa Rita. Their best win was against Tucson with a score of 25-0 in favor of Pueblo. -Mary Garcia :54,s.,s .K V ufsiitey Sowiith il Le mme Teehmi limes, Junior Vatfls itsy tre ks Eve - , ..,. . ff,-'i L lisa- - d 88
