XX ers. ooimoo The 1979-80 El Dorado year- book staff worked weekends and after school in order to meet the final deadline. Some of the staff members were inexperienced, but after a few lessons and talks, they caught along very well. The lessons were given by adviser Mrs. Barbara Beamer. Editors on the staff were Betty Salinas, edi- tor-in-chief, Wendy Woods copy editor, Veronica Lowe, Student Life editor, Alicia Blake, academ- ics editor, Veronica Blurton, classes editor, Donna Huckeba, art editor, Peter Morales, sports editor, Darlene Pesquiera, photo editor, Sam Valdovin, clubs edi- tor, and Maria Heredia, index editor.
