One of the many things Honor Society did was buy a Christmas tree and make desserts for the Mar- shal Home for Men. Student Council sponsored various dances, a blood drive, as well as other activities. Together Honor Society and Student Council sponsored a brunch for honor roll stu- dents. Student Council and Honor Society have both contributed to help make a better com- munity and school. -Wendy Woods- ONE: Mr. Gastellum, Mrs. Grove and Mr Kluck chaperone the Student Body Mixer. TWO: Marion Woods and Nachie Martinez put announcements on the marque. THREE: Alfred Gastellum and Susie Sotomayer help at the Christmas party. FOUR: Ofelia Gandara gives blood during the Student Council blood drive. FIVE: Honor Societies officers seated are: Gerrie lohnston, President, Marilee Roel, Vice-Presi- dent, Mary Martinson, Secretary, Wendy Woods, Treasurer. ,NX f.Q .Q M llsigiinitiiimg Grew Pueblos's Lighting Crew met when needed during perfor- mances and other school activi- ties to help with lighting and P.A. equipment. They also video taped athletic events and special classroom activities. Being on the lighting crew means putting in a lot of your own free time , commented Mrs. Schallhorn, crew advisor. -Sam Valdovin Keeping tradition is a hard thing to do but Pueblo's Tradi- tions Committee did it in 1980. The main activity of the commit- tee was the homecoming dance and half-time ceremony. The goals of the committee are to carry on school traditions, this is a hard job because there is lack of participation. Mrs. Mae Cleary and lennifer Porter were the clubs advisors, and Anthony Martinez was presi- dent, Melinda Martinez was vice president, Norma Cramer, sec- retary, and Alfred Gastellum was treasurer. Funds raised by the committee went to the Pueblo canned food drive. - Sam Valdovin ONE: Students show what they can do at a dance sponsored by the Traditions Committee. TWO: Dances were a big attraction at school. THREE: Anthony Martinez thinks about an up-coming event planned by the committee. SEVEN: The Lighting Crew was even at Delegate Assemblies as Keith Pate sets up sound equipment. EIGHT: Frank Molina spot lights a speaker.
