The wrestling teams along with coaches Iohn Mulay and Gary Slagel worked very hard to achieve such good scores ac- cording to both coaches. The outstanding j.V. Wrestlers were: Tommy Soto, loe Valen- zuela, Mike Valenzuela, lames Modesitt, and Ignacio Herman. Coach Slagel concluded by stat- ing, They were all winners with 12 wrestlers having a winning season. The l.V. Wrestler's record was 7-1-2, and the Freshman had a 7- 4-0 record. -Cynthia Varelas

Our outstanding wrestlers were: Ernie Norzazary, a junior, Rene Duran, a senior, as well as lose Rodriguez, another junior, and Richard Reyes another sen- ior. Coach Mulay commented that the team worked very hard, and did a fare job, although a few boys quit and this really hurt the team. The best crowds turned out when Sunnyside and Pueblo met. During Christmas tournaments Pueblo brought home eight medals which gave them a third place finish, with Kevin Erichs and Ernie Norzazary placing first by beating the top seeded oppo- nents in the tournament. Pueb- los' Varsity team went up against Cholla and came out the victors. This has been one of the most outstanding seasons Pueblos' Wrestlers have had. ludy Galvan Mary Ellen Valle Class So. jr. So.
