They perform not only at school functions, but also away from school. This past year they visited in some junior high schools in the community, and They also gave special pro- grams here at school, helped with the Christmas program, and other functions. The Glee Club, composed of best girl singers, also per- formed for the student body. Desertaires is open to both girls and boys. The staff, headed by editor Sue Stropko, incorporated a number of new features and ideas never before seen in a Pueblo annual. Among these were changes in the paper, print, style, and division pages. The threat of approaching deadlines created much concern and turmoil, but under the supervision of Mrs. Mary Stotera, the '67 El Dorado emerged on schedule at the annual dance, May 26. Proceeds from the dance send a staff member to a workshop to increase total knowledge of the staff. An All-American rating was the goal of the 1967 yearbook staff as they Rosalie Thomas.
