Ending their season was a switch night with the cheer- leaders, the two groups exchanging roles for one game dur- ing the basketball season. Traditionally, Wally Warrior's role was given to an en thusiastic freshman. He served as Pueblo's mascot at all ath letic contests. They perform not only at school functions, but also away from school. This past year they visited in some junior high schools in the community, and They also gave special pro- grams here at school, helped with the Christmas program, and other functions. The Glee Club, composed of best girl singers, also per- formed for the student body. Desertaires is open to both girls and boys.
