April as as . . K emu , it .13-as . Summer's beginning is in April, and this awareness finds people more restless cmd excited. Yob Week was eag- erly anticipated by the male students while the females were busy selecting their man and reviewing their etiquette. As the girl took her date's role, Yob got into full swing with planned activities. Match Day, Li'l Girls' Day, and Crazy Day filled the week which was concluded by a Saturday picnic and dance. Sports enthusiasts found April to be the month for track and baseball as the competition became more intense in the final meets. The Senior Showcase was the last chance for all seniors to display their talents, humor, and creativeness before graduating. With one of the best shows of the year, the seniors ended their high school careers in a grand finale of music, comedy, and everything available. To the seniors it seemed that their blaze of glory must be everlasting. As the baseball season reached its peak, Albert Marquez demonstrated his hitting ability in a game against Douglas. Baseball shared the busy month of March with track and tennis. ,,rt S' '.' Q '.ii. L ' t t- Rehearsing for the Senior Showcase were Elizabeth Griialva, Barbara Hinton, Lorraine Hipps, Dael Dixon, and Connie Jonski, doing an original Alexander, Linda McNally, Charlotte Montgomery, Debbie Bagley, Carol can-can. Preparing for the modern dance recital, Brenda Bolton, Edna Whelan, a familiar position from their dancing routines. Held early in April, this Laura Brown, Melinda Carmony, Neenah Drozd, and Eva Moreno pose in dance program displayed the efforts and talents of two daily classes.
