They learned basic principles in home man- was Linda McNally. The homeliving classes are co-educational and are agement along with cooking, sewing, and child care. 23

On an ivy covered mission front, Rodeo royalty Edna Whelan , Debbie and kept in step to music by the Warrior band, under the direction of Bagley, and Yolanda Espinosa were seen waving and smiling to the Mr, Egpinogq, crowds in the streets of downtown Tucson. Lettermen pulled the float --... iii '-M--- me-Ms...,, Executing her original cheer with poise and pep, In keeping with the tradition of Rodeo Week were the newly elected queen and attendants. On March Third, The Pink ElephanT Nifeclub was where The acTion was. Couples danced To music by The Five Reasons while The cheerleaders served behind The bar. Beverages wiTh exoTic names were served To make exTra money. Track, baseball, and swimming added varieTy To The slaTe of acTiviTies. Along wiTh keeping in shape, The LeTTermen's Club was puT To work on Their TradiTional Deep Purple dance and Follies, feafuring a balleT iokingly referred To as The WalTz of The Flowers. The all male producTion puT fun and frolic inTo The daily rouTine. Spring fever prevailed in many aspecTs of school life. GraduaTion was in sighT, and seniors sfruggled To keep grades up for The remaining Time. , .. Sophomore Flenard Grisby sTrained To make his mark aT a meeT during The T967 season. He made The varsiTy Team as a freshman. March Under Charles Beals, Los Payadores gained favorable recognition Through performances on Television and for privaTe groups. 29
