Al a special assembly was tolksinger Travis Edmundsen of the group Bud and Travis. Ac companied by Los Payedores, he played many well known songs and the students sang along. December Season's greetings were shouted in various ways throughout the month of De- cember. Basketball and wrestling swung into action following an all-school pep assembly. Spirit was sparked by a new type of cheerleaders. The Warrior grapplers and cagemen began their seasons with victories over their respected opponents. Famed tolksinger, Travis Edmundsen entertained with Los Payadores de Pueblo at a special assembly. Students in the audience sang along with some familiar tunes. The Girls' League and Lettermen once again joined together to go Christmas carol- ing. Following a visit to St. Mary's Hospital, the group came back to school tor retresh- ments. Seniors took ACT and SAT tests to make them eligible for college admission. Model United Nations delegates met once again at the University of Arizona. Pueblo was represented by eight delegates. Tempe was the site for the Student Council convention. Pushing Back the ln- finite was the theme followed. The Traditions Committee made a change by decorating an evergreen tree rather than one ot angel hair. Christmas parties and mistletoe were prevalent preced- ing the days before vacation. Showing precision and spirit for the new cheering style were Willie Hubbard. At the pep assembly, lettermen took the part of cheerleaders Lewis, Chuck Anthony, Dave Lynch, Ron Carreon, and not pictured, Tommy to show observers how Beware should be done. 22
