October Escorling the 1967 Homecoming queen Janie Phebus to her throne, king George Hernandez grips with assurance her gloved hand as he holds his golden football. Homecoming began October's calendar of events with the Warrior gridders contending Maryvale in a non-conference game. During halftime the royalty was announced. George Hernandez and Janie Phebus reigned tor the evening. Harbor Lights was the theme for the semi-formal dance. Music was provided by the Lewallen brothers. Senior Day, on October 99nd brought interested students to the University of Arizona campus. The day of events was climaxed with tree admittance to the U. of A. vs Utah game. Following the burning ot the Troian horse, spirited Warriors made their way to Catalina in the traditional car caravan. Prizes were given for the most original car decorations. Expressions of excitement and anticipation were seen on the spectators game.
