Gaily frolicking frosh girls didn't seem to mind carrying out seniors' wishes on Apron Day. For three clays freshmen catered to every senior whim, and the patio was a scene of bubbling fun. 16 Opening the September had many meanings. To the students of Pueblo High School, September meant the beginning of a new year. The 1966-67 school year be- gan with the student body mixer on September 9. September was a busy month for all students. The first official act of the senior class, freshman orientation, was climaxed by the Homeroom Central dance. Frosh elections were held the week of the 26th. A trip to Phoenix South Mountain opened the football season on Septem- ber 17. In Tucson the next week, Pueblo was victorious over the Rangers. Septem- ber meant traveling for the team, Palo Verde was the next stop on Pueblo's warpath. A pep assembly was a good opportunity for stdents to meet the team and show pride in their school. Student life was well under way as September came to a close. Already class pictures had been taken, home- room representatives were elected to work with the school officers, and other student body organizations had made their plans for the future. A school year was taking shape. Checking his bag of equipment, senior Jerry Pem- berton readied to board the bus taking the team to South Mountain.
