5 ' W 9 9 GIRLS STATE AND BOYS STATE All-around school citizenship and active participation in the affair s of the school and community are the major r e quir e m e nt s for election to Boys' and Girls' state. Selection of the delegates is effected by a faculty com- mittee after the entire faculty and administration of the school have been polled for nominations. Representing Pueblo at the Girls' State meetings on the campus of the University of Arizona were Sylvia Kerr and Jean Thompson, pictured at left.
