DROMEN EAN Pueblo's Dromenean Dancers is an advanced group, the members of 1, which are selected yearly by a selected faculty-student committee. The basic purpose of the group is to understand interpretive fmodernj danc- ing: such understanding is arrived at by practising and performing the pywqwg necessary movements and groupings of the dance. Director and advisor for the group is Miss Shirley Rooker of the Pueblo Girls' Physical Education Department. The Dromenean Dancers operate as a clubg Vera Bryantis the president, Judy Martin the vice president, and Larry Whalen is publicity manager. Lina Chavez The third bandis the March- ing Band which is made up of capable members of the first and second bands, The most active time of the year is the early fall when both concert and marching bands are active. Pueblo's unique and colorful band uni- forms have made the group a wel c o m e addition to any parade. This year the band won second place for march- ing bands in the Rodeo Pa- rade.
