'T 4-1.x A .waffff y INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC The marching band, clearly the most active of the instrumental groups, is made up of members ofboth the concert groups. The two center-spread pictures show the group in action. It played at all home games and made visiting trips to Amphi, Cata- lina, South Mountain and No- gales. It also participated at Davis-Monthan during fire pre- vention week, for the Veterans Day parade, and for the Rodeo parade. It participated in the U. of A. Band Day program. f+ ,R 1-13,1 A ---W-1 The first concert band played two as- semblies, and one formal assembly concert at Wakefield Junior High. It performed at the U. of A. Festival, and took part in the Southern Arizona All-State clinics. An ensemble from the band accompanied the Christmas program. 93

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC Directed by Mr. William Rich- ardson, instrumental music at Pueblo has made rapid forward strides in the less than two years of Pueblo's history. T h e instrumental m u si c program at present is made up of four groups. The first con- certband, the second marching band, and the string ensemble.
