CHRISTMAS EVE I N O L D TUCSON Christmas Eve in Old Tucson was the theme of this Christmas mural done by the Commercial Art and Advance d Art Classes of Mr. Herb Wae - sch. The original idea for the mural was arrived at after class discussion and election. The picture was exe c ut e d onblackboard panels in colored chalks in desert tones. Among the regular pro- jects of the Commercial Art Class is the designing ofbook covers and the il- lustration ofmagazine ar - ticles and stories. The Advanced Art Class spends the majority of its tim e on individual pro- jects invarious art medi- ums including c a s ein s , charcoal, and pastels. In May, the combined art cla s se s of Pueblo High School collected examples of their best work for an art show that was open to the public.
