.tt Dear Roberta, After your five day struggle with bulbar polio, your Creator welcomed you home on January 14, 1955. just six days before your seventeenth birthday. You endured life's struggle and now you are enjoying the great happiness of being at home with God forever. V While living on earth you were typical of the finest traditions of Catholic High, as Cheerleader, Paladin Leader in the C.S.M.C., Tatler reporter, assistant sports editor, and Legionnaire of Mary. As a tribute to you, two statues are now gracing the halls of Pueblo Catholic High: Our Lady of Grace, and Saint Maria Goretti. ln addition, the Roberta Riley Polio Memorial Fund has been established. We pray that it will be Cod's will for us to have as beautiful a death as you had, with Saint Therese, The Little Flower, by our side. God must have loved you much more than we did, or He would not have taken you. As we go through life, we shall think of you always'at our side, guarding and guiding us on the right path, so that some day we may be together again. You were truly one of the greatest Shamrocks of all!
