SENIOR CLASS HISTORY O marvelous Saint Therese, we, who are about to leave these gay and happy halls of Catholic High, beg your intercession to help us maintain our goal which God has intended for us to reach. Before we depart from the ringing of the halls of PCH . . . the day the Bishop celebrated Mass for the opening of the school year 1951-52 . . . Election of Class officers, James Rodacy, President, Margie Pechek, Vice President, Shiela Marsden, Secretary, Virgil Valdez, Treasurer . . . The dance was held just for us . . . When the lrish captured the Southern Colorado Parochial League trophy and later went on to become State Champions . . . The Christmas holidays . . . Semester exams . . . Our retreat master, Father Charles Jones of Denver . . . The free days . . . and final exams. As we enter into our Sophomore year we meet Elizabeth Curtis, Patricia Schum, Reuben Trinidad, and Jennie Watta . . . This is the year we had the play, Big Helpv . . . Sadie Hawkins Day Dance . . . Majorettes for the band . . . Minstrel Show . . . Mister Davlinis first year . . . Sister Ellenora,s first year as principal . . . Very Reverend Monsignor James O'Neil, retired army chaplain, for our retreat master . . . and the day we were made juniors . . . In our Junior year we were introduced to Sharyn Baum and ,lack Kennedy . . . Here we had a L'Stardust Homecoming . . . Halloween Dance . . . The Holy Father proclaimed the Marian Year . . . We portrayed the English customs in Christmas a la Cartei' . . . Terry Brennan, principal speaker at All Sports Banquet . . . permission granted to have Our Lord in our own chapel . . . The prom and banquet, all under the title of Enchanted Gardenv held here in school . . . and the card which officially proclaimed us, SENIORS. In our journey along the last mile we are joined by Patricia Mastagni and Francis Mondragon . . . The Marian Whirl with Margie Pechek reigning as Queen and her four lovely attendants, Patricia Ovechka, Rosemary Sackman, Corinne Scolere, and Shirley Mauro . . . Student Council Campaign for officers, with ,lack Lacy winning the Presidency, Jim Massara, Vice President, Patricia Schum, Secretary, and Janet Schum, Treasurer . . . the three individuals for retreat . . . the closing of the Marian Year . . . the press convention . . . Our prom . . . and the Glorious day of Graduation.
