GODFREY, Superintendent y ' PRYOR, OKLAHOMA ,x i Qi dv Dear Students: You have survived this trying year with flying colors. Though handicapped in these barracks, your ambitions remained higl. At times it has been difficult, with rain and mud adding to your discomforts, but I am sure that due to this experience you are a stronger personality. Education consists of three attainments: namelyyproper attitudes, proper habits, proper skills. By this hard and inconvenient year you have learned that life will sometimes be TOILQG that when adversity comes you are to work harder and longer: and that you possess the necessary tools to overcome any difficulty, for greatness is bought at the price of great sacrifi ces. trials. and sufferings. You can overcome W any problem as you have overcome your problem of inconvenience this year, if you will to do it. A Sincerely, 6 W N 4 PAGE 2 G. A. Frank Pryor - Frank developed into a strong tackle. Carl Smith - End, honorable mention. A tough end to try to go around. James Rodgers - A rough capable end xho wrecked end sweeps all year. Charles Brooner -- Held back by a knee, Brooner was still a. great tackle, both defensively and offensively. Bob Swift - Swift, a new face in Tiger athletics, was one of the reasons Pryor's opponents gained little through the Tigerline. Raymond Rating -- Mentioned for all state, and a rough, capable guard who spilled opponents all year. ' Lynn Livengood - He and Kating were a fine pair of guards. A guard - fast. aggressive. He should be outstanding next year. Leo Osborne - Was honorably mentioned for all state and played all of every game. A great halfback. Ken Jackson - Tiger utility back who more than piled all vacancies. Started 6 of 9 games an right half. J. R. Mosier - A1thoug1 hampered with a bad hip, he was an offeotive ground-gainer later in the season. Frank Powell - Willing and fast, he should make a fine ground-gainer next year. Bob McCol1ough - Bob gave good services as a tackle and should be a stand out. Eldon Weber -- Weber gathered experience as a. guard and should be a Tiger regular next year. Alton Williams -- Ran the team part of the year and was particularly effective as a blocking back. Jack Lowery-Lowery will be the mainstay of next year's backfield. Fast, smart, and ambitious. Charles McKillip -- Mao played every minute, and, in our opinion, is the best high school center to don a uniform. Jack Henson - Back, first year. Fast, hard hitter. nal 39 .fx- , .
