CLASS HISTORY In September, of the year one thousand nine hundred and thirty seven, the halls of Pryor High School were filled with giggling girls in short dresses and boys that seemed all hands and feet These students composed a group of happy. energetic classmates, that were eager to travel over the rough road leading to knowledge Miss Hogelin and Miss Bewley, with a trustful eye and never failing patience, helped them to complete the first mile of their journey ihe officers of the class of our Freshman year-were President-K C Hestler Vice President Jane Campbell Secretary 6 Treasure-Tonie Callison Father Time chilned the opening of another school term and these students smiled at the thought of enrolling in P H S they felt a more 'grown up' when they were addressed as Sophomores This class took an active part in football, music and other activities Miss Bennett and Miss Ganstine were their sponsors The offi oers of our Sophomore year were President-Margaret Wilkerson Vice President Harry Bryant Secretary A Treasure-Jane Campbell With the autumn of Nineteen Thirty Nine came school again As the Juniors took their respective places they could not help admiring their superiors and wishing for the day when they would be crowned Seniors lorling with Iiss McCallum and Viss Pollan, the Junior Class Sponsors, they presented their first play 233 lmgggy jgngg gf Jging dgngst The Junior, Senior. Banquet topped all events of the year President H rry Bryant Vice President Ethel 'errill Secretary A Treasure-Jane Campbell In September of Nineteen T0Tty- fifty six eager seniors rushed into the halls of Pryor High They realized this was the last miie in their road of high school ed ncation The Senior Class felt itself superior over the other classes and elected their canidate, Iargaret Uilkerson football queen with the splendid cooperation of Miss Ganstine and br Ludlow as sponsors they were able to present their play, 1'11 ggplgin lhe end of school told the seniors they had reached their highest goal attainable in High School, graduation The officers were President Harry Bryant Vice President Ralph George Secretary A Treasure-Ruth Lee We feel a p ng of regret as we turn from our dear, old school but we are not afraid to venture forth alone Thanks to our efficient training Ve do w.nt to pause and thank each of our sponsors and teachers individually fo helping us in these past four years By Ruth Lee PADI 11 I , . . .
