Class History In the fall of 1955 we entered Pruden Hlgh School There were f1fty young green scared Freshmen We were scared thrllled and a b1t apprehenslve about our future We organlzed our class by electlng the followlng as class offlcers Presldent Dons Rose V1ce Presldent Bllly Partrn Secretary and Treasurer Bernlce Hubbard and the Reporters Barbara Partm and Brlly Mays After our flrst year only thrrty three returned to begln the Sophomore year We were more at ease and began to get into the swlng of thlngs Gur class worked hard 1n w1nn1ng the trophy of the Intermural Tournaments We also had a hay r1de and enjoyed a trlp w1th the school 1n the sprmg to Blg Rldge Park Flnally came the blggest year so far our Iunlor year Thrs was to be a wonderful year although only twenty two members of the class remained We had come a long way SINCE 55 and the goal we were str1v1ng for was at last 1n slght We had gay tlmes on hay 1des, a memorable trlp to Big Rrdge and the c11max came when we went to L1ttle Tunnel Inn for the Iunior and Senlor Banquet It had been a f1ne year Semors at last!! Our last year and most exc1t1ng one started off w1th a BANG! Early 1n the flrst weeks of school we sneaked off to Knoxv1lle to the Tennessee Valley Falr on our Sneak Day We were happy when we won our second tr-ophy rn the Intermural Tournaments The scores were 147 136 Next came the b1g Varrety Show CGrand Ole OpraJ at the Halloween Carnival We are st1ll ra1s1ng money for our trip to Flor1da 1n May We can hardly Walt In the years to come we w1ll look back to the memorable places and faces that have brought us tl us far We w1ll look back to the m1stakes we should have cor rected and dldn t It 1S too late now, we must look to the future Our Hlgh School days are now h1story of yesterday Maybe someone somewhere will understand the strength lt takes to complete the cycle of success and the meanlng of true companlon sh1p of fellow classmates I 1 o 1 1 1 ' I D . 1 1 1 1 - 1 1 1 . - 0 . 1 1 1 0 1 .
