Joyce Carter, Judy Hoover, Sue Morgan, and Sue Kay seemed absorbed in world history studies as they delved into the past. History students at Provo High were taught to interpret current events and present-day trends in terms of what has gone before. Believing that the present is rooted in the past, instructors labored to give coherent pictures of time epochs from the Egyptian civilization down to today's varied cultures.
