On warm days, fresh air and sunshine helped to tone muscles; on cold days, the physical education classes romped through a variety of sports that could be enjoyed indoors. During ice bound winter months volley ball held top spot with the boys' gym classes. Don Ward shot for a basket as Jack Boardman, Darrell Harward, and Reed Dimick waited for the expected point.
