Proposals for school improvement were passed on to the Legislative Council, which in turn took action by pledging and promoting support of the groups they represented. Members were — front row: Joyce Cochran, Deanne Hintze, Rush Sumpter, Brian Goldsworthy, Clifford Urie, Frank Sumner, Bryce Nielsen, Ralph Farrer, Greg Gosar, Jay Marcroft. Second row: Dana Kaye Boswell, Keith Barrett, Don Asay, Terry Williams, Fred Dunford, Diane Whitehead, Joanne Alger, Carol Hafen, Geniel Schemenske, Annice Nelson, Mary Morgan. Third row: Karen Dixon, Sharon Patton, Sue Hughes, Ardis Vickland, Cecilia Edwards. Fourth row: Pat Johnston, DiAnn Price, Alta Giles, Alean Smith, Eileen Craythorne, Dan Elton, Jon Taylor, Arvel Hemenway, Donna Nicholson, Michael Kammermeyer, Anne Boel, DeAnn Sumner, Kaye Burrup, Mary Jean Barnardi. Well-balanced and appetizing meals were planned and served under the direction of Amy Taylor, superintendent of the lunch program. Mary Farrer, Pauline Thorne, LaPearl Roberts, Itha Hol-lerman, and Ellen Rowberry (Mrs. Don Liddiard was not present when the picture was taken) worked long and hard to prepare tasty meals for the hungry students.

The Board of Control, consisting of Karen Dixon, Greg Gosar, Dean Jensen, Bryce Nielsen, Kaye Burrup, Anne Boel, Gary Anderson, DeeAnn Sumner, Boyd Jolley, Mary Jean Bernardi, Rush Sumpter, and Danielle Christiansen, held frequent meetings. This body recommended and voted on all matters relating to student activities. Justin Winkler was the superintendent of all Provo High's buildings and the janitorial supervisor for the entire school district. Those men who painstakingly cared for the upkeep of the buildings were Moroni Cottam, Andy Mostert, and Glen Kirkwood.
