November 23, 1953 Dear Provo High Students: It always gives me a sense of joy in extending greetings and good wishes to you. The only moment of regret or sadness that I have in my school work is that I cannot know each of you better as a person. Please be assured I deem it an honor to have any one of you speak to me or come into the school board office to sec me about any of your problems. I assure you in this 1954 world 1 have great faith in youth and in the world you can establish. The challenge to produce a world of lasting peace for all mankind is your greatest challenge. You live in a world of progressively greater opportunity. Your power to serve will be greatly enlarged as your education increases in quality. Cordially, i .J.C. Dear Students: We have enjoyed to the fullest extent many fine activities this year at Provo High School. Through the efforts of many and the cooperation of all we have spaced them and varied them into patterns of profit and enjoyment. It is our sincere wish that as the years go by the activities pictured in this yearbook will remain sharp and distinct in your memories and bring you many pleasant hours of leisure enjoyment. Take with you into the future our best wishes for success and happiness in all that you do. Sincerely, Y. Jsi D. V. Tregeagle NDERSTANDING In order to get their reaction, Superintendent Moffitt showed plans for the new high school to Beth Hatch and Betty Jean Snow.
