The year is up at PHS, Each day has found its close. The buildings now have time to rest And snitch a well-earned doze. Another summer now there'll be As quiet as a pin. Next fall they will awaken And usher us back in. The year just passed has topped the list As far as fun's concerned. Reflections of our days unfold As each new page is turned. Some future time far off from now You'll run across this book, You'll crack its leaves and thrumb across Each page - iust for a look. You'll see the faces you once knew But not quite know the name. You'll see that ugly little brat That climbed his way to fame, The congregations on the steps - You met there every noon. The wistful look on every face - The year would end too soon. The action shots caught in the halls Will bring back yesterday. The pictures of the Christmas float, Assemblies, and - Oh say, Do you recall the Junior Prom, The f ie that made it right? Then keep on going, for it's here - Reflections of each night. We captured every precious thing. lt's printed here for all. They're yours - the book, the memories, Events both large and small. Now open wide and look within And reminisce your fill. There's not a thing that's overlooked So you'll remember still. The curtain fell across the stage, And still the cheers resound.
