Varsity Volleyball: Front row: Michele Provo, Chris Machacek, Kristen Anderson, Holly Liby. Back Row: Coach Gales, Tammy Wehmhoefer, Heidi Wagner, Tuesday Waddles, Beth Golden, Lisa Guido. Varsity Volleyball: Exciting Experience With New Coach This year was a learning experience for the new head coach, Gales, and for her team. The overall record of 4 and 10 C1 and 7 in conferenceb does not show all the talent and hard work that the team members dis- played throughout the season. Out- standing team accomplishments came with the impressive victories over Willowbrook, Hinsdale Cen- tral, and Notre Dame. Senior, Lisa Guido Cleading serverj, Chris Macha- cek, and Tuesday Waddles did a commendable job in leading the team on the floor. This year's bench strength played an important role in keeping the team alive. Two of the most consistent players were Beth Golden and Christen Anderson, who will join Heidi Wagner, who was M.V.P. and named to the All Confer- ence Team, Tammy Wehmhofer, Michele Provo and Holly Liby in re- turning next year to provide us with some exciting volleyball. Next year should be a good year, says Coach Gales, and with hard work, more knowledge, and more exper- ience, next year will be a winning season for all.

Seniors Brian Minneci and Joe Santiago, Juniors Tom Roth, Bill Frey, Tony Quattrochi, Dan Hollowed, along with Sophomore Jim Mikuta were some of the team's outstanding players.
