Girls League is one of the most active clubs here at Proviso West. Throughout the year the girls have been very busy with all the various activities. In the beginning of the year, Girl's League held an Ice Cream Social so the new members could get ac- quainted. Also, there was a Fall Into Fashion show which was very successful. Just in time for Christ- mas, the girls had a pizza party for all members. Back from the holidays the girls sold the It's Pan- ther Time buttons. For Valentine's Day, they sold flowers and valentine cards which were delivered during a special homeroom. During Charity Week, pickles were the main selling item along with Charm's blow pops. The week ended with a Sock Hop dance. To end the year perfectly, Girl's League held its annual Mother! Daughter Banquet early in May.
