For many Juniors, the PSAT, SAT, and ACT tests are among the first steps towards college. These exams take a lot of time, effort, and energy. The questions range from simple to challenging questions. Although these tests may seem impractical to some, they do provide advantages for a few people. The PSAT is also a prerequisite for the National Merit Scholarship. Four students, Paul DelJudice, Bill Bick- ley, Roda Baylon, and Sam Gulino scored in the top 5176 of all who took the exam. Of these three made semi- finals, and two made finals. Sam and Roda now have a 4072, chance of receiving scholarships ranging from S2000 to full tuition. The three who made the semi-finals are pictured at the left receiving an award from Mr. Milano. These students are Roda Baylon, Sam Gulino, and Bill Bickley.
