A lv ' .JMV 1 Once upon a time in the land known as Panther Country, there was a fan- tasy known as Homecoming 1984. During this magical time, Theresa Krawczyk reigned as the Homecom- ing Queen amidst fanfare and excite- ment. The fearless Panthers Were ea- ger to confront the Lions as their kingdom was adorned in red and white. Panther subjects of all ages showed their appreciation for their Panthers the night before by decorat- ing each one of their castles. Howev- er, for the determined soldiers and chiefs of the Junior and Senior classes and of the Band, they worked well into the night until the break of dawn to complete the floats which would ride through town. The stage was set now for the trum- pets to sound and the celebration to begin.

W an As the sun met the horizon, the battlefield was desolate, and the day's festivities had come to a close. In gallant battle, the Panthers fell to the Lions as the Queen and her court presided. There was celebrating in all town thoroughfares as all Panthers participated in the day's activities. The Senior Class of '85 made its mark in the history books by capturing first place in the float judging for its third consecutive year. Finally, after months of hard work and after a beautiful day, the loyal Panther subjects prepared for a Wonderful night on the town making Homecoming '84 the most re- markable of their memories. 7
