Soccer Team Has Good Year Varsity soccer had a very good season. Seniors Stan Spera and Gordon Lukic with juniors Jim Long and Willie Vidako- vich made the All-Conference team. Gordon Lukic also made the All Area team and his 21 goals helped accom- plish this feat. Sophomore Dimitri Staur- opoulos had a good season as goalie after Tom Muzik was forced out with a broken jaw. Varsity soccer looks for a good season next year because of a strong junior support. The soccer team finished 4th in Conference with a 6-1 1-2 record. Their record ended up to be 8-8-2, and they finished 4th in conference. The sophs. really put on a show in the conference playoffs beating Hinsdale Centeral and Oak Park. Some first year players dis- played their talents and really helped the team. Freshmen Show Potential . The frosh soccer team was hurt this year because of the new eli- gibility rule. This team had a very good defense and will get better as they progress to varsity.
