Doing Important Work, Lab Aids And Library Assistants Lab aids are invaluable assets to the science teachers they help. The aids do work around the labs so that teachers have more time to educate their classes. Some of the tasks the lab aids perform include setting up materials for class experiments, mixing solu- tions, and measuring chemicals. Library assistants give up their half hour study each day to help out with the many jobs performed in a library. Shelving books, straightening shelves, and helping other students are included in the chores assistants. Library assistants are irreplacible because they keep the library routine flowing smoothly.
