From aneient Greece to yesterdays Moscow, the future leaders and citizens who occupied the classrooms of Proviso Yvest profited bv studying the experiences of the past and discussing the events of the present. In psychology students were made more aware of the workings ot their own minds as well as acquiring a more intelligent appreciation of others' motives and needs. Bv promot- ing a program intended to assist the student in develop- ing his own concepts and heliefs, the social studies department took part in creating hetter Americans.
