I.D. cards and fifty cents en- titled West students and their guests to an evening of ping pong, volley ball, swimming, dancing, and Proviso gossip. Once a month jostling, laughing crowds jammed the door of A building Waiting impatiently to pay ad- mission and be checked for shoe cleats before enjoying three hours of animated leisure.

ILL TELL YGU A STORY PROMISED THE TITLE, and in D6CeH1lO9I', the Variety Show, directed by Mrs. J u d i th Tamarkin and Linda Riedl, rocketed through American history in a tuneful Whirligig of songs and dances. In March the dance show, 4'Carousel, shared the bill with Orchesis groups in their production of Calendar Cur- tain Callj' a kaliedoscope of original dances which expressed the special character of each of the twelve months. For both productions Thursday matinees and Friday and Saturday night performances found the Little Theater filled with intent and appreciative audiences.
