GO, FIGHT, WIN,7 echoed throughout the gymnasium as loyal fans bellowed cheers at traditional seventh period pep assemblies. Amusing pep talks by coaches and players and clever skits presented by the cheerleaders helped to stimulate Westis rooters and arouse the crowds to sufficient yelling volume. Jumping, screaming, pulling the crowds into the action of the game, the cheerleaders dressed in appropriate costumes added to the excitement of homecoming. All of the pep assemblies promoted spirit in team followers and gave Proviso West's players the incentive to challenge their keen competition.

UPPLR CLASSMEN LEAVE WEST after four years of Proviso's daily routine and activities. Most remembered of all four years will be the senior year With memories of baby bounce and class rings and the op- portunity of receiving a functional education complete with the influences and instruc- tions of the faculty. Under every graduation cap was the thought of past senior friends and activities which filled the year of '64 with a turmoil of dances, banquets, coke hours, and scholastic rewards.
