Nlemlners were given opportunities to display their talents in poetry, prose, comedy and serious readings, and original oratory. lWemliers interested in other types of speech were also ollllcrcd opportunities through oratorical declamation, radio, alter dinner, and extemiporaneous speaking. Under the supervision of Mr. James Vllaage the group traveled to Normal, Peoria, and Bradley Universities to compete. Wlith the experi- ence and diligence of these young orators the school received honors and ratings ot superior quality. The recognition ol' Wlestis Forensics League has hecome more puhlicised hy morning announcements ol' the xveeliend wins and the show case in building UAH advertising the leaguels results in state and district tournaments. ln or- der to participate in the achievement ot the organization llorensics memhers need twenty-lfive points which were awarded on the basis of tournament accomplishments.
