Mural Faces Problems Of Yearbook Theme This year the staff not only added a new telephone to the Mural office hut also added a new sponsor. heirs. Jessie Veach along with the editors worked amid piles of cropped pictures, misplaced dummy pages, and correct- ed galleys, worrying ahout final deadlines. Although to most of Wcstis students seventh period was only one hour away from the final hell, in C-313 the Uhelli, often rang at 6:00. At 2:30 the room was in chaos with twelve editors typing, cropping, and screaming for help. During the wccli of Qctoher 16 a unique face appeared at VVest-'ihluriclm pranced through the cafeteria pro- claiming the dual sale of elephants and lllumls. Using the theme The Faces of Proviso Westi' the staff and photographers raced around the buildings to find the different moods and expressions of the school. Near the end of the year the moods of Mural changed with the turmoil of getting ready for puhlication and compe- tition.
