Drama Lives On In AUDIENCES really turned out for Harvey. The fall play Harvey brought a full house every night to Proviso East High School auditorium for five perfor- mances, one special per- formance was for the nearby grade school students. The seating arrangement for these performances was in the round. Harvey was a whimsical play about a big, white rabbit named Har- vey who was only seen by Edward D. Dowd iplayed by Jeff Kubisl so everyone else thought Dowd was crazy and should be committed. But first Dowd went from doctor to doc- tor to no avail. At last Dowd was declared insane and was ready to be sent to an asylum. But he was rescued from this fate by his sister. Director, Mr. John Toth, was pleased by the performances and turnout. Because of the large numbers of females trying out for parts, the cast was doubled for these parts.
