Cine Club may choose from 250 hlms, twenty-four movie projectors, seven tape recorders, and a public address system. XY'ith this equipment the club provides an im- pressive program of audio-visual aids. Each member receives training in the use and care of this apparatus. USHERS' CLUB Neat appearance, punctuality. courtesy, and excellent character describe Provisos Ushers. Adorned in blue and white, these carefully chosen girls render service at all Proviso indoor activities including Choral, Band, and Qrchestra concerts. Convocation, Class Day, and Commencement ex- ercises find the girls dressed in white with the Ushers' Club's familiar badge. Choosing their officers in April, the Ushers in- stall them in May and, at the same meeting, wel- come new members. This years activities included the annual Janu- ary dance, Midnight Magic, and the Get-To- gether early in the fall. EXPLORERS Building better leaders for the future remains the primary goal of Explorer Post 13591. Planning a full year's program, these boys par- ticipate in weekend camping trips to resort areas such as Devils Lake, Wisconsin, This year also in- cluded visits to Stateville prison and the stock yards, attendance at a splash party and a hockey game, and the serving of a spaghetti dinner to raise funds. The annual Explorers' Ball climaxed the program. Service-wise, the Explorers co-operate with all activities of the Lions Club along with their own projects such as removing snow from all hte hy- drants in this area.
