Foreign exchange. workshop. Club 9, and two cabinet meetings each week added extra responsibility to the already busy agenda of Student Council. This year Student Council sponsored Pro- visos lirst foreign exchange student. The experiment has succeeded in that it tends to unify the students and increase school spirit. To further this unity, Council will send a Proviso student abroad during july and August. Provisos student governors have also initi- ated the Student Council Wforkshop, a train- ing program for future olhcers, cabinet, and committee members. Executive Cabinet members lead discussions of their Commit- tees and projects during the fourteen-week course. ln addition to producing the annual variety show and several dances, and supervising monitors and eo-op study halls, Council pro- motes school spirit through pep assemblies and all-school elections. Members strive to work together and provide unity between students and faculty.
