04.95004 info fAe ufure We seniors stand on the brink of new experiences - college, marriage, military service, and a place in the world of business, memories of high school days will follow us through each of these fields of endeavor. Succeeding senior classes, however, may recall seven-period days and over-crowd- ed classrooms. The walls of our sprawling red-brick building may bulge under an ex- pected enrollment of 4600 in 1958. Various additions, such as a new girls' gymnasium, will spring from Proviso's walls in the coming years. All these changes will come as a result of surging enrollments. ln the school year 1955-56, 'l00 more students will enter Proviso, the next year will witness the infiux of 400 more students, and the following year will bring an additional 500 freshmen. During this year we have sat in comparatively small classes, enioyed special lab- oratory, physical education, and vocational facilities, and received individual aid from our faculty. In addition, we have had access to the extra-curricular opportunities which a large school offers.
