Special fducation Clinic and Num Page 16 SPECIAL EDUCATION CLINIC C. A. Moore, director ol' the special education clinic, arranges speech and hearing tests. These tests are adminis- tered to all freshmen and juniors an- nually, with the assistance ol Mrs. Barbara Horst, seeretary. Mr. Moore and Dr. Irwin G. Spiesnian, eye, ear, nose and throat specialist who donates his services onee each week, treat any deleets which the testing' may reveal. Equipped with the latest devices and instruments, and supported jointly hy the Slltte and the township, the elinic is ahle to give treatment without charge. Miss Dorothy Cherrington, direetor ol' the remedial reading clinie, aids stu- dents to increase reading speed and to overcome reading difheulties. NURSE Our school nurse. Miss Helen Robins son, is always prepared to give treat- ment and counsel to students in the event ol illness or injury. Her assistance with physical examination and tuher- eulin tests and her complete health records ol' the entire student body insure competent medical care. Miss Robinsons radiant personality aids the students' health as much as her therapeutic treatment does. MRS. ISARISARA IIORSI. secretary. marries on the routine ol' a typical day as students nail in the reception room. MR. C. li. .X. MOCRE explains some of the principles of speech to two students.
