The main duties of the seven members of the Board include planning the budget, determining the school policies, and improving school property. Now they are looking forward to the completion of the iieldhouse addition. As a gesture of appreciation for faithful service, stituted the tradition of awarding gold watches to contributed twenty-live years or more of their lives the Board this year in- all teachers who have to Proviso. At a dinner at the Tam U'Shanter Country Club, Dr. E. R. Sifert, superintendent, who assists the Board on all educational matters, made the first presentation. Page l2
