Every person, no matter what his position, can contri- bute to the unity and organiza- tion need to make the world better. The archdiocesan sys- tem of Catholic schools, of which Providence High is a part, is an example of this organization and unity, under His Excellency, Archbishop Robert E.Lucey, director of all activity in the archdiocese. The superintendent of Cath- olic schools in the diocese is His Excellency, Auxiliary Bish- op Stephen A. Leven. Work- ing closely with Bishop Leven are the diocesan school su- pervisors, Sister Marietta, C.D. P., and Sister Francis Therese, C.C.V.I., who concern them- selves with the I systematiza- tion and closer integration of the schools under them. Providence High School, as the largest private girls' in the diocese, contributes greatly to the apostolic work of the diocese. The executive heads of Providence are Sister Mau- reen, C.D.P., principal of the school, and Sister Florence Marie, C.D.P., superior of the school. These two nuns by their untiring efforts com- bined with those of all the faculty, unite and correlate all phases of student life. Thus Providence aims in its educa- tional program to educate whole personalities who will readily take their places in this modern world. ADMINISTRATION FURNISH ES MEANS FOR CHANGING THE WORLD
