Civic-minded-freshmen give school's Guardian Angel new look. Painting is Barbara Setllff with helpers Era Coons, Cora Steiner, and Elaine Murphy. .lob was one of many civics class projects. I40 First days, freshies falter As though blinded by too powerful light, freshmen groped way through firs days at Providence. To help freshies get acquainted, senior acted as big sisters, and at initiatio found youngest class standing on own feet. On freshman schedule came Religion I Civics, General Science, Algebra l. Then, because library would l much needed resource, during weeks, freshmen became ori through special class.
