1 The annual staff would like to dedicate this 1976 edition of THE EAGLE to our superintendent, Mr. W. H. Moseley, in recognition of his work as a teacher and superintendent of our school. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, An institution is the lengthened shadow of one man. We would like to recognize Mr. Moseley as that man in relation to the Prosper School. He is retiring this year after seventeen years of service in our community. Dur- ing that time, a new school plant has been constructed, better facilities for football and baseball have been added, and additions and improvements have been made to the building and grounds. Mr. Moseley has always had the best interest of the Prosper School and its students uppermost in his mind. He has always expressed his pride in our student body when there were those who would criticize our behavior. We want to thank him for having faith in us through the years. We wish to both Mr. and Mrs. Moseley a happy retirement, and we hope that they will look back upon their years in Prosper with pleasant memories.
