They led the pep rallies, pep squads, and drill team in their yell sessions. DRILL TEAM The first performance of the drill team was at the game with Gold Hill on January l9. Following that, it drilled at all of the basketball home games. On Valentine's Day, a performance was given for the Student Body. Mrs. Flannery and Miss Jones organized the team, and Mrs. Henry Herman fixed the Costumes for the Majorettes. Elva Carlton was head majorette - with Viola Dailey and Nyoda her assistants. GIRLS' Pl-IYSICAI FDLJCATICDN During l944-l945 this class continued its physical training activities. ln addition to the regular schedule of baseball, basketball, volley ball, and ping pong, a drill team was organized. lt performed at home basketball games. For health, the girls enjoyed talks on beauty by Mrs. C. R. Bowman, and talks on health by the School Nurse, Mrs. Frisbee.
