On behalf of the Board of Directors I should like to extend to the students and the faculty members our deepest appreciation and thanks for their co- operation and thoughtfulness throughout the School year of l944-l945. Principalls lvlessage Prospect High School, along with the rest of our public schools, has been doing its part to meet the emergency, which now exists. The burden of carrying on in the midst of war, has rested on the capable shoulders of our teaching staff, principal, and school directors, each of which has had a task to do and has done it well. The task of carrying on the duties of providing the funda- mental training necessary for participation in the armed forces, for service at home and abroad, though difficult, has been met. lt has not been necessary to drop any of our courses. ln- stead, we have added Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry, Ad- vanced Shorthand, Bookkeeping, Chemistry, Latin, and Business Arithmetic. Each of these courses has helped to enrich Pros- pect's educational opportunities. With a splendid group of officers in our Student Body, Classes and Organizations, Student Activities have really gone to the top. Not only were these events well organized, but also a good time and lots of fun was had by all. The only regrets which we have felt during the year have been those Good-byes that have been hard to say. Prospect's Directors, Faculty, and Students, promise these fellow classmates that our Education Banner will be carried high until victory is won.
