Silk and Satdn, a two-act devil- try written by Mr. Calisch and Adrienne Kulieke, portrayed the punishment of misbehaved school children in the deepest regions of Hades. Mephistopholes, played by the wicked Bob McAndrew, exercised his magic powers and his Mellotone Youth Squad to transform the aged Miss Lil O'Lady, Becky Clausen, into a lovely young flirt, Coreen Cordova. Mr. Gil- lon thrilled the variety show audiences with his perform- ance as Satan, and Sandy Joern stole the show as Miss Brim- stone, the satanic assistant of Mephistopheles. Faculty Co-directors Mr. Weiss and Mr. Fyfe and Student Director Don Jernberg pro- duced a most successful show. The youth crew looked over its next iob.
