Bartlett ASSEMBLY COMMITTEE The Assembly Committee was able to host three assemblies although money was lacking. The first was singer and guitar player Dick McCormack. At Christmas time the P.H.S. music department put on an entertaining program for the student body. In the spring the Committee invited magician Phil Moore to astound everyone with a variety of magic tricks. Funds hopefully will be increased by next year for future assemblies. M. Hurvath. D. 26 ART CLUB Many talented P.H.S. artists participat- ed in three spring art events this year. During March the club went to a regional art exhibit at Woodslock High School. In May and the beginning of June they had a Proctor High Fine Arts Festival; the group also went to an art exhibit at Moon Brook Gallery in Rutland. The club is making plans for a trip to Shelburne Museum and New York for next year. Members Were Debbie Blow, Tim Blow. Chris Bump, Ken Burgess. Darren Carter, Ieff Cook, Sue Fletcher. Of these one-lhird elected to take the summer option. The classroom phase of 1he course was taught during homeroom period while the driving phase took place at the end of the school day. 28 SHOOTING STAR This year's prom featuring Short Change was successfully put on by the juniors. The new king and queen, Scott Anderson and Rose Massey, were crowned by Chris Cook and Zellie Horvath. The juniors, with the aid of Bonnie Blanchard. did a spectacular job with their theme Shooting Star. There was a great turnout, and everyone had a good time.
